Red Flux, one of the most common, is found aplenty in volcanoes, stars, and areas touched by devastating energies such as nuclear explosions. It is said that Red Flux gathers wherever heat rises. It powers most energy infrastructures, from cars to spaceships, making it the most vital for interstellar powers; Red Flux is also used to power most energy-based weaponry, including Concordia’s standard rifles.
Red’s opposite color is Green, while it is allied with Violet, Orange, and White.
Applications of Red:
— Magnetokinesis
Magnetokinetics are people learning to master the fundamental force of magnetism, starting with basic applications such as electricity control, and moving to more complicated techniques such as the manipulation of metals and magnetic poles. Creative magnetokinetics have also been known to generate strange effects, such as turning others into living magnets.
— Exaltation
Exaltation, originally created by a star-worshipping Red cult, is the art to become a living sun by replicating its energies. Low level users appear as pyromancers, but eventually learn to replicate stellar energy, altering gravity, releasing plasma, and harnessing nuclear reactions. The goal of these Red Sorcerers is to eventually achieve a godlike state, leaving their body behind to become pure energy.

While often confused as sound manipulation, Spellsinging is the manipulation of wavelengths, from sounds to radio waves, or even the forces bringing atoms together. Most spellsingers use wavelengths as vectors for their spells, giving them a far wider range than their rivals.
— Quickening
The control of motion and kinetic energy, quickening allows the user to alter the speed of matter, or increase or decrease kinetic impacts. Expert quickeners can become near-invulnerable by dispersing the energy from impacts, shrugging off bullets or even missiles.
Red Sorcerer
Red Sorcerers are what most people think about when they imagine magic-users, powerful individuals hurling fireballs and raining lightning with a glance. Almost to a fault, Red Sorcerers revel in their power, forgoing subtlety or grand schemes for the simple effectiveness of brute force. This makes them the most likely Sorcerers to rebel against authority, and often emotionally volatile.
While some Red Sorcerers use their magic for constructive purpose, such as becoming one-person power plants, most turn to warfare. Either pushed by a primal impulse, adrenaline addiction, or cultural encouragement, Red Sorcerers thrive in situations testing their limits. The smartest of them learn to channel their might in a focused manner, becoming deadly generals worth an army on the battlefield.
Red Sorcerers are infamous for the trail of destruction they leave behind them, as they are the magic users with the greatest firepower in direct combat. Most are classified as artillery when joining the military instead of soldiers, and live up to their hype. While this makes them powerhouses, this also makes them noticeable, and more than one Red Sorcerer has met death at the hands of a subtler assassin.
Escalation: Ira: Red Sorcerer escalation can be summed up as a never-ending rampage. Snapping due to perceived wrongs (whether real or imagined), wrathful Red Sorcerers decide to lash out at society through mass murder. Spree killers par excellence, they destroy everything around them until killed themselves. Never subtle, they are usually stopped by authorities before they can rack up a sizeable body count. If not, a vicious momentum is set in place; the Red Sorcerers refine their MO, grow more efficient at killing, and become adept at devastating hit and run tactics. Some extreme cases eventually forgo communication, becoming little more than living natural disasters.
